Well,

I live in France and with my internet and television subscription i get a cool little box called sfr media player.
Guess what i don't need cables to connect and its run through wifi also it configures automatic my pc and TV. so there's no work in setting it up or buying cables.
I can also store on line any documents on my pc for life.
Now why has boxee not figured this out yet you seem years behind and have not thought about the Mr average and the masses.
Anyway i tried boxee but i'm not buying cables and the content at best is minimal.!!!

Boxee is great I expect to come to Europe soon, Unfortunately the Hulu and ABC in general all American television networks are not available in Europe. I am from Greece and Internet connections are at very low speeds(the high speed is NOT cheap). To learn people the Boxee should I bother with the subtitles on an open source system with available translations of their users boxee but with more seriousness. many broadcasts, documentary series web series, etc. etc. many people want in all languages an idea and a good website is dotsub.com where each user to translate own language also have the option to translate groups.

We wait more for Boxee we need to see more

(I have the beta with 4 CPU and 4 GB RAM Nvidia 1 GB and works Great)

Awesome!!!
Great interface. Remote is a dream: what a brilliant idea to combine keyboard and pointer.
Bring it on, I have my hard-earned cold cash in my hot-blooded sweaty hand, and ready to roll.
Sign me on!!!

I tried out the beta and it looks pretty slick--only a very few minor glitches.

BUT... A number of the providers refuse to send content (ABC, NBC, Hulu--I'm talking to you!). Until that gets straightened out, this is only merely interesting, rather than world-changing. (And I'll continue to surf the net in my spare time, rather than returning to TV-watching again.)

Technical detail: I'm on a 64-bit Ubuntu box, if that matters.

No Hard Drive? Unbelievable. This sounds like nothing more than a WDTV clone. Why not at least have an internal SATA connector so users could add a hard drive themselves. I hate to say Im disappointed. I have been looking the last two years for a media player that has a good, easy to use UI, access to online and streaming content and an internal storage solution where I could store my entire DVD/Music/Photo collection. One box that does all media. I was hoping finally the Boxee Box would be able to do something all these other media players couldnt. Eventually some company is going to get it right.

Avner,

Last year, I stopped by your booth and discussed Boxee with your team. I knew that your product would be the next big thing and this years show has proven that so.

Good Luck,

Ronan

PS. I use Boxee on 6 machines at home and work.
