I already have a Microsoft wireless media keyboard that I bought with my PC that I was going to use with a media extender. If I get an IR dongle, would I be able to use this keyboard to navigate through the system?

Given the emphasis on internet streaming, will this media player be sold outside the US? For example, will it be sold in Canada? The video licensing issues would appear to be a nightmare. For example, Hulu is not really available from Canada, netflix isn't, etc... Given that, what would the unit bring to the table that a $130 device such as the WDTV Live doesn't?

Thank's,

Hi,

I would like some official Boxee information on the specs of the Boxee Box:

1. What is the maximum bitrate allowed for H264 files? Can we play the usual 20 - 40 Mbps H264 rips on the Boxee Box?

2. Is the HD decode engine in the Tegra 2 same as that in the Ion?

3. Can we play 16 reference frame 1080p H264 files with Tegra 2 based Boxee Box?

4. What is the exact power consumption of this box which you will put in the documentation which comes along with the box?

5. Will you support decode of SD Real Media video files at least in software on the Cortex-A9? (It is known that Tegra 2 doesn't accelerate Real Media playback, so I am sure HD is ruled out)

Thanks in advance for your response!
