Tomorrow (Oct 1st) gdgt is doing its launch party in NYC, and we’re proud to be part of it!
The event starts at 7pm at the Manhattan Center. If you love gadgets you should stop by. There will be demos from Blackberry, Zune, Sony, Drobo, HP, Kodak, Rockstar Games and more.

We (Gidon, Zach and myself) will be at the Boxee demo station and will be looking forward to chatting with users stopping by (we kind of ran out of schwag, but still have a bunch of stickers left

I found Boxee through "Kim Komando". The question I have is: is your service only for TV via remote, or is it usable on my desktop for that's the only computer I have??

can I use a standard definition TV hooked up to my laptop ?
Yep. Text will be less clear to read, however, it would work on an SD TV.
Some laptops have composite or s-video output, which would serve this purpose.
Where is Boxee located? …and do you have any entry-level positions open at this time? I really like the idea behind Boxee.
