Boxqueue (discover on the web, watch on your TV)
Boxqueue is a brilliant new tool for your boxee. developed by Monsur Hossain as part of the dev challenge the Boxqueue lets you save videos from across the web, and then watch them later in Boxee!
every day someone sends me a video, or i come across something on Twitter or Digg, which i want to “save” for later, so i can watch it at home.
Boxqueue lets you add a bookmarklet to your browser that makes it easy to mark video you find on the web and want to watch on boxee. whenever you find a video you like you just click “Add to Boxqueue” and that puts the video into an RSS feed you can access from boxee. perfect.
to start using Boxqueue follow the simple instructions on http://boxqueue.appspot.com
Monsur Hossain in his own words:
I came up with the idea for boxqueue while catching up on my Google Reader feeds. I kept running into videos I wanted to watch, but didn’t have the time to watch them right that minute. Plus, sitting at your desktop watching videos isn’t the most relaxing environment. I thought it would be great if I could queue up all these videos, and then plop on my couch and watch them right after another. Thus the idea for Boxqueue was born.

Great idea. I love it!!
Love this plugin. I would really like to be able to add torrents to the video feed, then I could download them on boxee when I get home
Well, can I suggest something to improve the exposure of such plugins to Boxee?
Just a few days back, Orli Yakuel posted about tools to show a tour around a website. I think that Boxqueue sounds great but would prefer to see an introduction to it.
Good work, and great idea. I installed it on my ATV and my Safari 4 browser, but for some strange reason when I click on Boxqueue bookmarklet on the menubar, and then it asks for my gmail password, it won’t accept it ??? I tried multiple times, and triple checked my password, but no luck. Anyone else having this problem ?
I want this to work as it is extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance.
