got a Vimeo channel? turn it into a boxee app
Vimeo is a great place for creative people and independent content owners to publish and share their videos online.
one of the best channels of Vimeo is La Blogotheque. Fred Wilson wrote in his blog that he’d love to see a boxee app for that channel, and one of the readers of his blog commented that it would be great to have a template for creating boxee apps based on Vimeo content.
we thought it’s a great idea, and idan created a template and blog post on how to easily build a boxee app based on a Vimeo channel.

Wondering if this uses the mozilla browser, so one can enjoy the HD goodness that VIMEO provides on it’s site. Vimeo’s external embed’s, and rss feeds only provide SD video (if you can even call it that).
The independently created creative content on vimeo is awesome, and top notch, IMHO. The community is also really supportive, and even if there is negative, it’s to help make better art, not troll. A huge benefit over youtube from my perspective.
