boxee @CES
Jan 6th-11th we’re going to be in Vegas for the CES show. even though we’re a hungry little start-up we’re actually going to have two locations at the show:
- demo station: a small pod in the Innovation Pavilion – Sands IP204
- boxee cafe: booth space we won at i-stage in the TechZone – Sands 73839
we’re going to use the pod to give demos of boxee (we’re releasing another version of the alpha on Jan 8th), and the TechZone booth as a place to meet and have a cup of coffee.
at the boxee cafe we will be serving organic, shade grown, fair trade, ground on location, espresso and cappuccino. gidon and i will be your baristas.. (wish they had Best of Show in the coffee category, i think we could have been serious contenders)

Congrats on winning the iStage contest. I love your Boxee Cafe idea for CES and will definitely stop by to congratulate you in person and also visit your innovations pod to see your product in person.

I would love to be there, but I can’t. I have to work and it’s the week before the winter quarter starts (my second quarter into my Masters program). Have fun guys and knock them dead (not literally).

I have to say for all my bitching about the perf. of boxee, I _do_ love it and am blown away by how much you guys have accomplished in such a short time. It will be killer when you get past the beta hump and into the mainstream.
IMHO Apple should be paying you guys for the increase in functionality you bring to that device. It makes my AppleTV much more useful and fun to use.
My brain is being rewired thanks to boxee. Now when I see something on TV I like, I reach for the remote to recommend it. Of course, this only works when the show is on boxee but the reaction is occurring even when I’m not watching boxee!
