been a crazy 24hrs.. thank you all for your support and enthusiasm.
we just uploaded a new version of boxee for Apple TV (v3383).
what we fixed:
- no need to disable the Apple TV screensaver
- back button (i.e. Menu) on the remote reacts faster and works in all screens
- the bittorrent download manager is now working
if you already installed boxee on your Apple TV then should select “Update” under the boxee menu, restart your Apple TV and you’re good to go.

v. 3383 isn't available for download from this website. I click download and I get v. 3024.
the 3383 is a version for Apple TV. you'll see it if you install boxee on your Apple TV using the USB Creator

Does this still work with newly released ATV 2.2 updated firmware?

Except that it has. XBMC Beta 1 on ATV2.2 = remote control doesn't work out of the box.
Still, my remote does not work. Unpairing & pairing does not seem to do the [t|b]rick.
Anyone ?
