Tiger, Tiger, Tiger
while many people have upgraded their Mac OS to Leopard (10.5) there are still a good number of Tigers (10.4) out there, so we’re happy to announce that the latest version of boxee for mac (released today) supports Tiger.

This is fantastic news for AppleTV users. This should *in theory* mean that if you had a “jailbroken” apple tv, if you will, you could install this software and set it up in place of front row. I feel tingly with excitement >.<
indeed..
I’ve been unable to get it to work on Tiger. I can’t log in because the mouse does not track on screen while the app is running. I’ll try a few tricks & reboot and see what happens.
Pete,
Boxee doesn’t use a mouse – it wouldn’t look right to have it on screen when you are watching media, among other things…. You use your remote, or your keyboard to navigate. Try arrow keys and enter and escape to move in and out of fields.
