keeping costs down

every start-up is fighting to keep costs to a minimum. here’s how we’re doing it:

office space:

in new york we have friends that gave us a room at their office.
in israel people are working either from home or at tom/roee’s place..

travel:

mobissimo, priceline, and redeeming lots of miles..

phone:

try to use skype, jajah as much as possible

conf calls:

    freeconferencecall.com

microsoft office:

trying to move to open-source alternatives (like neooffice)

salaries:

everyone agrees to a reduced salary for the seed stage..

A friend of mine uses internetcalls.com religiously. I tend to fluctuate back and forth between a few services listed here:
    http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/23008CD6-BAA0-4BFC-A98E-A3E447ADEB1E/

sidestep.com and kayak.com are relatively good cheap airfare site search tools.

it’s good that everyone agreed to a reduced salary as that can be a killer for a startup. It’s also good that you’ve been given a room by your friends. Friends are integral in a success story. :)
